Frequently Asked Questions regarding our Events
1. Can I come along on my own?
Yes you can. Most people do and our hosts are there to chat and facilitate introductions. If you want to bring a friend, you must pay and supply their name in advance for our guest list. If you want to bring along a friend of the opposite sex, then you get their ticket at a reduced cost. This is to encourage a good gender balance.
2. What is the dress code?
We have no actual dress code but we recommend 'smart casual'. It's a stylish event in a trendy place so take advantage of the
opportunity to dress up!
3. Can I just turn up on the night?
No unfortunately not. We will not have facilities to accept payment on arrival so all places must be pre booked. A strict guest list will be in operation on the evening.
4. is this a dating night?
No - it's not a dating night. While we do try to encourage a good gender balance, it's more for atmospherics rather than people matching.
The main objective is for everyone to make new friends who are going through similar processes and therefore have something in common.
However, If romance happens - we encourage it every step of the way!
5. I don't have a paypal account?
If you don't have a paypal account already, it's really easy and straight forward to set one up, so we recommend you do this first.
If this is not possible, please email
admin@separated.ie to organise a different method of payment.
6. Do I get a refund if I don't attend on the night?
Because we have to give final numbers for food to the venue 48 hours in advance, any cancellations after this time will not be subject to a refund.
However, we will do our best to facilitate geniune reasons for cancellations and transfer the payment to a future event.
